Pixels Guild War Website

Pixels Online is a popular MMO farming simulation game with a dynamic economy, skills, events and guilds. Recently, Pixels has been running a guild wars event dubbed Spore Sports . The event has been a huge success, however, tracking player information and guild statistics is a challenge. I developed a website to make tracking guild and player performance simple called pixelsguildwar.com that has peaked at over 90k page views in a week (the most traffic I've ever gotten on a side project!!) and I expect those numbers to grow as more players become aware of the tool.

The website is developed using Next.js, a series of cron jobs update the data after each session and then a deployment is triggered to update the static web pages displaying player and guild information as quickly as possible so players can access the information as soon as it is released by the game.

This website has been shared and endorsed by the game itself on social media and within the game discord server. The website also includes: skill leaderboards, player stats and data from other events within the game.
